Ellen is a Cornish artist primarily working with acrylic medium.
I AM A CREATIVE ARTIST LOCATED IN NORTH CORNWALL
I have painted since a child, largely self taught except for a couple of courses on acrylic and oil techniques. Living in Cornwall means I have a wealth of material to work from close to home and I also enjoy painting subjects and scenes from all over the world. I also specialise in pet/animal commissions.
I have exhibited successfully as a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society (MIWAS) and at a number of other venues. The majority of my works have been commissions consisting mainly of Pet Portraits, but I also paint Land and Seascapes. I tend to use acrylic paints using Artist Board or canvas.

PET PORTRAITS and FOLK ART
I often get asked to paint pet portraits from photographs which I really enjoy doing. Please see my commissions gallery for more information on this.
I also enjoy Folk Art and often paint on slate to produce coasters which I sell in local craft shops.
